At Cranford Vanilla Bean Creamery, we take pride in our super premium ice cream, made fresh in the shop daily from high quality ingredients. We offer over 32 hard ice cream flavors with a weekly flavor rotation. We love to experiment with different ingredients to ensure the greatest quality and taste, as well as a new variety for each visit.
Our Story
Vanilla Bean was opened under new ownership by Ralph Kopelman in 2010 after pursuing his passion for dessert. Since serving ice cream and egg creams at his father's old fashioned candy store in Queens, NY as a teen, he knew he wanted to get back to his roots after 25 years in the men’s clothing industry.
Ralph first began to make ice cream for family at home in small batches, experimenting with new flavors and ingredients. After much searching for the perfect location, he and his wife came across the shop when it was up for sale and took a chance. For over a decade, Ralph has been making ice cream professionally and serving the community of Cranford.
